Real Madrid vs Napoli HIGHLIGHTS: In a thrilling encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid showcased their prowess, securing a 4-2 victory against Napoli and maintaining a flawless record in the UEFA Champions League.

The Serie A giants initially took the lead in the Real Madrid vs Napoli fixture with Giovanni Simeone finding the net, fulfilling his pre-game aspiration to score against Atletico Madrid's eternal rivals. However, Rodrygo swiftly equalised for Real Madrid, ensuring Napoli's joy was short-lived.

Jude Bellingham's 15th goal of the season elevated Madrid in the 22nd minute, but Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa leveled the score for Napoli just two minutes into the second half. The decisive moments unfolded in the latter stages, with Nico Paz netting a crucial 84th-minute goal, and Joselu sealing the victory in injury time, maintaining Real Madrid's perfect winning streak in the tournament.

Meanwhile, Real Sociedad faced a goalless draw at home against RB Salzburg. Despite Salzburg's strong start, Real Sociedad, already assured of a spot in the knockout stages, improved in the second half. The team will now contend for the top spot in their group with Inter Milan in the upcoming last group match.

Sevilla's Champions League aspirations were dashed as they squandered a 2-0 lead at home, succumbing to a 3-2 defeat against PSV Eindhoven. Sergio Ramos and Youssef En-Nesyri had propelled Sevilla into a comfortable lead by the 47th minute. However, the tide turned in the 65th minute when Lucas Ocampos received two yellow cards in four minutes, leading to his expulsion.

Ismael Saibari swiftly pulled a goal back for PSV, and Sevilla's defense crumbled, with Nemanja Gudelj scoring an own goal in the 80th minute. Ricardo Pepi's header in injury time secured a stunning comeback for PSV, leaving Sevilla in disbelief and coach Diego Alonso likely facing repercussions.

Exit Polls 2023 LIVE: BJP may win 140-162 seats in Madhya Pradesh, predicts India Today-Axis My India

Exit Poll result 2023: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to record a resounding victory in Madhya Pradesh, where the party is expected to win 140-162 of 230 seats, India Today-Axis My India exit polls showed on Thursday. 

 

India Today-Axis My India has predicted 96 of 199 seats for Congress and 90 for the BJP in Rajasthan. A party needs 101 seats to form the government in Rajasthan, which has a 200-member House. These numbers may surprise the BJP as the party had expected to return to power. According to the survey, 42 per cent of people voted for the Congress and 41 per cent voted for the BJP.  

   

The Congress is likely to return to power in Chhattisgarh, India Today-Axis My India predicted on Thursday. As per the exit polls, the Congress is likely to get 40-50 of 90 seats while the BJP may get 36-46 and the BSP 2. If these numbers hold true, this will be a setback for the grand old party, which was hoping to get over 50 seats.

Exit poll results for all Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Telangana, and Mizoram - will be announced shortly. While Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Mizoram voted earlier in the month, polling in Telangana was held today and would conclude at 5:30 pm. Of five states, the BJP is in power in Madhya Pradesh, Congress in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh, KCR's BRS in Telangana and Zoramthanga-led Mizo National Front in Mizoram.

 

The BJP and Congress are in direct contest in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh. Congress and BRS are vying for power in Telangana, while Zoramthanga's MNF, Congress, and regional party Zoram People's Movement are in a contest in Mizoram. 
     
The counting of votes will take place on December 3, Sunday.

There is no Money Heist Season 6 release date, as the series ended with Part 5.

why the dollar is facing its weakest month in a year

The euro, meanwhile, has jumped to its highest level versus the greenback since August, at $1.10.

Market expectations for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates have sent the dollar tumbling.

The US Dollar Index, which measures the greenback against a basket of rival currencies, is on pace to weaken about 3% this month, its steepest 30-day drop since November last year.

At the same time, the euro has moved in the opposite direction, toward its highest level against the dollar since August, advancing as much as 0.4% Tuesday to reach $1.10 for its fourth consecutive day of gains.

As recently as October, the euro and dollar were nearing parity, with the former hovering at $1.05. The euro has gained about 3.6% in November.

The swing in the currencies can largely be chalked up to markets' expectations for the Federal Reserve to begin cutting interest rates in 2024. According to CME Group's Fed Watch Tool, markets expect the central bank to ease monetary policy as early as March. The dollar surged in the last year as the Fed kept raising interest rates, driving investors to dollar-denominated investments like Treasurys for their higher yields.

Fed Governor Christopher Waller on Tuesday said that inflation looks on track to fall to the 2% target. That would signal a mission accomplished for the US central bank, leaving the door open to begin loosening policy once economic conditions call for rate cuts.

"While I am encouraged by the early signs of moderating economic activity in the fourth quarter based on the data in hand, inflation is still too high, and it is too early to say whether the slowing we are seeing will be sustained," Waller said in a speech in Washington DC. "But I am increasingly confident that policy is currently well positioned to slow the economy and get inflation back to 2 percent."

Quincy Krosby, chief global strategist for LPL Financial, told Business Insider that Waller's comments reinforced the notion that the current restrictive policy will be enough to quell inflation.

"Strength in the euro," Krosby said, "has been gaining momentum as markets factor in that the Fed delivered a 'dovish' pivot at its last meeting. Moreover, the market, despite the Fed's 'higher for longer' commentary, sees rate cuts coming by mid-2024, which also helps underpin a weaker dollar against the euro."

The euro is also benefitting from a stronger economic picture throughout the bloc. The shared currency edged up ahead of last week's Thanksgiving holiday after data showed that a slowdown in eurozone economic activity was letting up.

Meanwhile, US consumer confidence data released Tuesday showed sentiment improved slightly in November, even as most respondents still think a recession looms.

The Conference Board's index climbed to 102 for the month, above the revised 99.1 reading last month, and slightly higher than the Dow Jones estimate of 101.
